Yet, Another Hotel Room (195/365)

Auto-generated description: A neatly made hotel bed is adorned with bags and clothing, set beside a window with patterned curtains and a framed piece of art on the wall.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of my 3,298th hotel room… I’m looking forward to the days that I’ll never again, see an airport, or a hotel room.

From Above (178/365)

Auto-generated description: A firefighting plane releases a bright red fire retardant over a forested area with smoke rising from the trees.

One from the archives today. A tribute to all the firefighters out there working very long days. Thank you.

My M*A*S*H Dreams Come True (156/365)

Auto-generated description: A person is flying a small, bubble-cockpit helicopter over a grassy field.

One from the archives today. Selfie from many years ago, working on my commercial and instrument rotorcraft ratings in Ardmore, OK. All the Vietnam era vets who I flew with told me the best helicopter to learn in was the Bell 47. Even back then, not many places taught in the Bell 47. Thank goodness for Versatile Helicopters in Ardmore. I’ll never forget the time spent there.
