My M*A*S*H Dreams Come True (156/365)

Auto-generated description: A person is flying a small, bubble-cockpit helicopter over a grassy field.

One from the archives today. Selfie from many years ago, working on my commercial and instrument rotorcraft ratings in Ardmore, OK. All the Vietnam era vets who I flew with told me the best helicopter to learn in was the Bell 47. Even back then, not many places taught in the Bell 47. Thank goodness for Versatile Helicopters in Ardmore. I’ll never forget the time spent there.

End of a Long, Hot, Mostly On time day (142.5/365)

Auto-generated description: A half-full glass of dark beer sits next to an empty Newcastle Brown Ale bottle on a wooden table in a bar.

3 legs, two hour ground sit, just crazy loads today. First leg completely full, second leg half empty and final leg almost empty. Cheers to another day in the books. Happy 4th.

Anybody got a nickel? (142/365)

I’ve been a little lax on my daily postings. The Summer months are crazy busy at work with lots of extra flying. Full planes, crowded airports, long days, some days it’s eat and drop into bed. Stay safe out there…
