This is crazy behavior. Give an inch, and they want a mile. I used to give out my Google Voice number to them (easy to ignore all the texts), but now, if you want my email (I use a throw-away email), I’ll give you that for the discount, but require my phone number too. I give up and move on. You lost my business.
