Downward Spiral (235/365)
iPhone shot and processed
One last trip to the airport to drop off some paperwork. The parking garage is always good for an architectural shot. I love concrete in black and white.
Started the day with a really good hour-long swim, then prepping for the road trip. Working outside is just unbearable; as I type this, it’s 107F/42C. I need to get out of here… I would rather be cold than hot, I’m finding as I get older.
It’s a funny thing, winding down from work. It’s this way every year; it takes me several days to wind down, to stop thinking about work, checking on it. Worrying about it. It’s not a switch that you flip, but a process. It’s the same: after I wind down and it’s time to go back to work, it takes several days to get back into it and turn it all back on. I’m not a fan of the transitions, I guess. We humans are funny creatures.
I hope you had some peace today.
